Location: Anonymous, can provide via email Remote: Yes Willing to relocate: Depends, open to travel Technologies: Go, TypeScript, Node.js, Deno, Nim, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP, Docker, Terraform, Caddy, Linux/VPS infrastructure, REST, GraphQL, Shopify, AI/LLMs Résumé/CV: Can provide via email Email: zedeus@pm.me I'm a senior software engineer with 8 years of experience, primarily focused on backend development, systems architecture, web scraping/reverse engineering, performance optimization, and infrastructure. I work best in small teams where I can operate autonomously and take ownership of difficult problems end-to-end. I'm the developer of Nitter (https://github.com/zedeus/nitter), an open-source alternative frontend for X/Twitter that I developed and operated for 7 years. At its peak it served millions of users and had a large community around it. I maintained it through major changes to X's infrastructure, including reverse engineering, API usage, caching, performance optimization, anti-bot/WAF systems, and production infrastructure. It was ultimately shut down following legal threats from X. Outside of Nitter, I've worked on internal logistics systems, APIs and integrations, cloud infrastructure, automation, and various other backend systems. I'm particularly interested in difficult technical problems where I can have substantial ownership, whether that's backend/infrastructure, data acquisition and scraping, developer tooling, or AI-related systems. I'm anonymous here because of the nature of Nitter and the legal situation surrounding it. I'm happy to verify my identity privately and can provide my CV and additional details by email. Anonymity would not be a requirement after employment. I'm open to full-time employment or contract work.

Location: BC, Canada Remote: Yes Relocate: Unlikely Tech: Windows Linux C C++ SIMD OpenGL WebGL WASM JS TS Github: https://github.com/scallyw4g Portfolio: https://scallywag.software Résumé/CV: https://scallywag.software/resume.html Email: jesse[at]scallywag[dot]software 12 Years of Experience -------- Hello, my name is Jesse. If I was born to do one thing in this world, it's program computers. I describe myself as a competent generalist; I'm frequently working on something I've never done before. I've worked at every level of the stack, from cycle-shaving hot SIMD loops to the frontend of large web applications. Coworkers have described me as "the best engineer I've ever worked with" surprisingly frequently. My most recent professional experience has been about a year at a semiconductor startup; I worked on prototypes for an ISA, compiler, a cycle simulator, and a visual debugger. My most impressive open-source contribution is a voxel engine called Bonsai. It's written completely from scratch, and depends on nearly nothing external. Bonsai was on the front page a while ago : https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46285319 I'm comfortable working in heavily multithreaded/async soft-realtime environments where performance is a key acceptance criteria. I have a good understanding of modern hardware architectures, including GPUs, from main memory to registers and instruction pipelines. I'm pretty much exclusively interested in GPU compiler work. I'd also get excited about 3D rendering or low-level performance work. If your team needs someone with breadth that get's shit done, let's talk. Personally, I'm easy to get along with. I enjoy climbing in the summer, backcountry snowboarding and travelling to surf in the winter. Thanks for reading, Jesse

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (EST) Remote: Yes (100% only): Canada, US, Global Willing to relocate: No Technologies: Java, JVM Internals, LMAX Disruptor, JFR/JMC, Aeron, Low Latency, Zero-Allocation Architecture, Distributed Systems. Résumé/CV: Available via email Email: vk.dev.contact@proton.me I’m a Principal-level Java engineer with 16 years of experience, focused on ultra-low latency and high load. At my current position, I’ve architected the core of a distributed FX streaming system handling 180+ GB/hour with sub-millisecond p99 latency. To drive down end-to-end latency, I build with pinned CPUs, zero-allocation processing, non-blocking algorithms, off-heap memory buffers, custom IPC solutions that bypass network hops, and frameworks like Agrona and LMAX Disruptor to eliminate GC pauses. I profile close to bare metal with JFR and JDK Mission Control, using these tools to resolve memory hotspots and thread contention. Beyond raw throughput, I engineer highly resilient distributed systems, focusing on cluster communication, failover management, and maintaining consistency across horizontally scaled pipelines. I’m looking for a 100% remote Staff/Principal role where I can solve hard JVM performance and distributed systems challenges at scale.

Location: Bengaluru, India (UTC+5:30) Remote: Yes — open to fully remote roles from India Willing to relocate: Yes, with visa sponsorship where required Technologies: Python, C/C++, SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, scikit-learn, U-Net, ResNet, Docker, CUDA, TensorRT, RabbitMQ Résumé/CV: Available on request LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/yashwardhan-singh-2194ba222/ Email: yashwardhansingh1311@gmail.com I'm Yashwardhan, an IIT Kanpur '24 graduate in Mathematics and Scientific Computing with a minor in Machine Learning. I have two years of experience building production computer vision systems for digital pathology at Pramana/Evident. Some of my work: - Built a multi-magnification scanning pipeline that reduced scanning time from about 90 minutes to 7–10 minutes per slide, deployed across approximately 5,000 client slides. - Developed U-Net segmentation and an 18-class white blood cell classifier with 92% accuracy. - Built Docker services coordinated through RabbitMQ for GPU-based image processing, alongside image registration and 3D reconstruction pipelines. I'm looking for full-time Computer Vision, ML/AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Applied Scientist or Research Engineer roles. I'm also interested in multimodal and GenAI teams where my production CV/ML background would be useful. Available immediately. Happy to share my resume and discuss the systems I've built.
