I’m a straight man and I like these kinds of books, among others. I think people should like what they like without worrying what less secure people think about it. The kinds of people who gatekeep masculinity are not the kinds of people I’m interested in impressing.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I like a GPT generated space opera every now and then though I would never be caught dead with a book with a traditional romance cover on it.
