I work across product design, design systems, frontend, backend integration, and internal admin tooling. I’ve been building modular, multi-product platforms with a strong focus on maintainable architecture, clear separation of responsibilities, and reusable UX and code patterns. I’m comfortable shipping MVPs fast and iterating toward production quality with proper documentation and structure. Looking for roles where product thinking, UX, and engineering overlap: full stack, product engineering, or frontend with strong UX and architecture ownership.

Security Engineer and Full-Stack Developer who "bleeds tech." I am also a justice-impacted individual. Since being released from incarceration three years ago, I have fought every single day to rebuild. It hasn’t been easy. In Spring 2023, I secured a life-changing DevSecOps role at a Canada-based firm, only to have the offer rescinded due to a background check. Just months ago, I lost a promising contract-to-hire position after being transparent about my "colorful background" pre-offer. I have protected systems at Tinder, Verizon Media, UCLA Health, and Children's Hospital Los Angeles. I am looking for the one company willing to take a chance on a re-entering citizen who brings a level of resilience you won't find in a standard resume. Open To: Support Engineering (Tier 2/3) Technical Sales / TAM Security Analyst / Vulnerability Management Junior/Associate Cloud Engineering See previous post for more context: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38858075

Location: Boston, MA Remote: Yes Willing to relocate: Yes (Michigan, Canada, Europe) Technologies: Python, ML/DataSci, SQL/Spark/Redis/etc., AWS, Java, Typescript Résumé/CV: on request Email: nact62831 (at) gmail.com I am open to other engineering roles, but I am mainly looking for engineering roles (or hybrid science/engineer roles) that focus on supporting scientists or scientific organizations. For the last ten years, I have bounced between working as researcher and engineer, and I have a track record of helping scientists write better code (and build better machine learning models). Most recently, I have been part of a team working on a GenAI system. My focus has been on (1) testing to guarantee the model continues to support critical customer needs, and (2) systems that override the model output to increase reliability and consistency for the end users. I love helping scientists automate the repetitive parts of their work while allowing the flexibility necessary for experimentation.

Location: Sheffield, UK Remote: Yes Willing to relocate: Yes Technologies: Python, C, C++, Postgres, Flask, Git, Embedded Resume/CV: Name/phone number redacted (will gladly provide upon request): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p9LvU85JKHINtIHxCd8xVBVElgPR5wTH/view?usp=sharing Email: robmdsd \xff20 googlemail \x002e com (my usage of 'googlemail' is a languishing attempt at defeating scrapers) I have been programming since the age of 13 and graduated with an integrated master's degree in 2024, however since then I've been staying afloat on unstable work. My experience has been quite broad in that time but my recent focuses in my spare time have been Python/Flask, and C/C++ (for a homebrew project on an old console that I enjoy contributing to) but my initial experience was with Java; the first thing I wrote was a CraftBukkit plugin that ended up getting over a million downloads. I'd consider myself very good at quickly familiarising myself with unfamiliar frameworks/languages, so even if it's something I'm not experienced in, I would be more than willing to do a take-home, or something similar (which I enjoy, esp. if it's something new to me). Looking for and would be grateful for any opportunities, including non-SWE, e.g. I.T., or even something non-technical if your company is hiring for other roles. I do not use LLMs for any work or projects of mine, or prose I've written (personal preference, not a moral viewpoint).
